Return & Exchange Policy.

You acknowledge that these terms of returns and exchange are limited to direct sale by us to you and that these terms of returns and exchange are not available in case of a sale by third party and invoice which shall be governed by the terms of such sale. For this purpose we must receive the merchandise within 7 days from the date it was received by you. Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed and undamaged by you. Goods will be accepted only if they are returned in their original packaging. We do not provide refund on any goods sold.

Goods once sold can only be exchanged for a replacement or a store credit if they meet our terms and conditions. Since we keep limited inventory and do not always have all sizes available and under such circumstances the amount paid by you can be used by you whenever you shop with us next time.

Products once sold on a Particular Discounted price, will NOT be adjusted under new or any previous discount scheme.

All conditions applicable to return of goods shall also apply to exchange of goods. To return an item, the customer must write to us at returns@rutbaa.com, a prompt response is assured to such mails. If you are not satisfied with the product received by you for the only reason  that the goods are damanges or there is a defect, you may have the option to exchange (Not valid in case of customised/made to order goods). We are not liable for any damages caused to the product during transit although all necessary precautions/insurance is taken to ensure the damage is limited. 

No Exchanges/Returns are permitted in case of Made to Order Goods, Custom Stitched Apparel, Jewelry and Accessories

Bollywood Replicas (Unless defected) do not qualify for any returns or exchanges. There may be slight variations in Design in Bollywood Inspired Collection. This is due to reason that it is an Inspired Collection and not the Original.

No Exchanges/Retuns are permitted on all orders that are Discounted/ Part of Sales Promotions

Item Received in Damaged Condition / Manufacturing Defect or Wrong Item

If you have received a damaged item or if the item you received was not the item you ordered or if it was misrepresented on our site, please contact us by email within 24 hours of your receipt of the product. It is important that you save all packing materials as well as the item itself. When you reach us, we'll give you instructions on how to proceed.

We will express ship a replacement item at the earliest possible with no extra shipping cost to you , once we have the returned goods with us.

If the original ordered item is no longer possible then we will request you to choose an alternate item and express ship the same to you with no extra shipping cost to you. We will communicate with you about your wishes to make sure you will be happy with the exchange.

Here Are Some Important & Helpful Guidelines on Returns

  • Always be sure to report your problem within 24 hours of receiving the item in question.
  • Never send back a item without consulting with us. It's very important that you DO NOT send the item back to us until you have verified with us and no credit or replacement shall be given on such items.
  • Always report any and all problems associated with a single order/package delivery at the same time. Be as specific as possible when describing the problem, as all returned items are examined for defects / variations.
  • Always return your items using registered airmail / courier as advised in our return authorization mail.
  • Any shipping costs of sending back to India above what customer paid for shipping charges while receiving them from India are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Please return within 14 working days of confirmation from our end, and with original packing & in original condition (please, no worn, washed, used or altered items). Please ensure to include a copy of the invoice you received.
  • Once we receive your return, a quality check will be performed by our quality team to figure out what went wrong, and then immediate steps will be taken to prevent such reoccurrence.

Cancellation

The customer can only cancel the order within 24 hours of placing the order. No cancellations will be entertained after 24 hours. Please mail all cancellations requests to wecare@rutbaa.com. Once you request the cancellation of item(s) in your order, it will take us a maximum of 4 business days to cancel the order and initiate a refund. You will be notified of the same.

Credit Returns

Refund amount for all returned items will be credited to your ‘RUTBAA Account’ only in the form of Promo Code/Credits. For each returned item, a promo code/Credits will be issued. You may check the issued Promo Codes/Credits under ‘Promo Codes/Credits’ section by clicking on ‘My Account’ on visiting ‘www.rutbaa.com’.

Rutbaa.com will refund the paid amount only if the order at delivery is damaged, or if the order is wrongly sent by Rutbaa.com In the event of the error having occurred on the part of Rutbaa.com, the product can be replaced or the amount can be refunded at the sole discretion of Rutbaa.com. 10% Restocking fee would be deducted for exchanges.

All credits/refunds to be posted to a customer's credit card account (wherever applicable) takes about 4 to 7 business days to be processed. The corresponding bank of the customers may take about 2 business days to actually post these to the customer's accounts from the date we processed the credits. Customers can check these credits in their next credit card statement.

Accepting Parcels from the Freight Agencies.

If the outer packing is damaged or tampered with, do verify the items quality and quantity with invoice before accepting the package from the courier agency. In case of any discrepancy, either refuse to accept delivery or accept delivery only after putting suitable remark(s) on the proof of delivery.

Partial Refunds:

In the case of multiple products being ordered, if for any reason whatsoever, Rutbaa.com is unable to deliver a certain product/s, the customer shall be allowed to select an alternate product. However, in case the customer does not wish to select any alternate product/s, Rutbaa.com shall agree to either provide store credit to be used for future purchases or refund the amount for that particular product. The decision to provide a refund lies at the sole discretion of Rutbaa.com.

Product Disclaimer:

The details of the products or product specifications (weight, color, handwork details, size, etc.) as mentioned on Rutbaa.com are only approximate values, color settings and capabilities of computer monitors.

Products on our portal are designer made; there may be variations in colour and embellishment of the actual product against that as shown on the website. This is due to the nature of fabric dyes, weather at the time of dying and differences in display outputs due to lighting, digital photography etc. All care has been taken to ensure that the discrepancy if any is limited and immaterial in nature. The Images displayed are for reference purpose only.

Due to mass & repeat production, there could be occasions where there are slight changes in borders/ prints/ embellishments.

There is no warranty against the embellishments/ stones used on the outfit. No return/ exchange would be entertained on those grounds.
